We are so lucky to have our beautiful farm in WV. One of the plusses is the old historic homestead which still remains mostly intact (16 outbuildings still stand, mostly log). This was a self-sufficient Applachian farmstead from 1802 until the 1970s. The herb gardens were extensively maintained during the 1900s. We have inherited a bounty of healing herb plants and are anxious to share them with you. Consult your health care professional before using any new herbs or medicines. We are not responsible for the outcome of your use of these herbs. Beginning in 2011 we will begin selling products including:
Lavender and herb wreaths $25 - approx 12" - email for next available wreaths
Mullein leaves and flowers - available starting in May 2011 - generally used for respiratory complaints - read more - $4.00 / 1/4 lb dried/cut/sifted
If you need boxwood logs for crafts, ask us! We have huge bushes that have a lot of really hard wood in the trunks.
